The Development of Our Miniature Pinscher Line

Introduction to the Miniature Pinscher Breed

Our journey with Miniature Pinschers began in 2004, when close friends from Ireland introduced us to the breed through their delightful bitch, Misty. This initial encounter sparked our interest and set the foundation for what would become a long-standing passion and commitment to the breed.

The Foundation of Our Kennel

In January 2005, Misty gave birth to our first Miniature Pinscher, (‘Roxy’), officially known as Minimanns Cream Of Ulster at Krieger. Roxy became our foundation bitch. Although she was not ideally suited for the show ring due to her size, she proved invaluable as a brood bitch, producing two champions, (‘Pepsi’) UK Ch Krieger Oh So Sassy JW ShCM and (‘Eva’) UK Ch Krieger Ooh La La, in her first litter with Ch Bellpins Wear The Fow Hat at Dimogen JW (‘Oliver’).

Strategic Breeding and Achievements

Following Roxy’s success, we continued to carefully select breeding partners to enhance our line. We chose Joker Show Lucky L Max (‘Master Misha’) from Serbia to mate with UK & Ir Ch Krieger’s Oh So Sassy JW ShCM (‘Pepsi’), resulting in (‘Fynn’) Krieger’s Ultra Max. While Fynn was also a bit large, we decided to line breed him back to Pepsi’s sister, (‘Eva’) UK Ch Krieger Ooh La La. This pairing produced (‘Jojo Bisland’), officially UK Champion Krieger Whoop De Do JW ShCM, who was the Top Miniature Pinscher in 2013, along with his brother, UK Ch Krieger Whizz Kidd with Darkiss.

Champion Line Continuation

Jojo was then mated with Pepsi in a grandson-to-grandmother pairing, producing UK Ch Krieger Bubble Butt JW (‘Sadie’), who achieved Top Miniature Pinscher status in 2016. To introduce new bloodlines, we performed an outcross with Camalis Hot As Hell (‘Nessie’) from Sweden, which resulted in UK Ch Krieger’s Dark ‘N’ Delicious JW ShCM ShCEx OSW (‘Miss Vivian’), the Top Miniature Pinscher in 2019.

Recent Successes and Record Holders

Vivian was subsequently mated to Gold Digger at Tubize (‘Bryn’), a dog whose mother was Swedish and whose father came from distinguished UK winning lines. From this pairing, we bred (‘Freya’) UK Ch Krieger’s Kiss ‘N’ Tell JW, who became the bitch breed record holder and Top Miniature Pinscher Bitch for 2023, 2024, and 2025, marking the fifth consecutive generation of champions in the Krieger Affix.

Recognition and Awards

Both Beccah [Sub to KC Approval]and I are approved to award Challenge Certificates (CCs) in Miniature Pinschers, reflecting our commitment and expertise in the breed.
